Fuelab 818 Series In-Line Fuel Filter -6AN 100 Micron Stainless in Black (flb81821-1). Fuelab builds the 818 Series around a 3 inch filter element and a machined billet aluminum housing. This model uses a 100 micron stainless steel element and -6AN male inlet and outlet caps, and flows up to 200 GPH.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
