Fuelab 818 Series In-Line Fuel Filter -12AN 100 Micron Stainless in Blue (flb81824-3). A short-body in-line fuel filter from Fuelab, the 818 Series carries a 3 inch element in a billet aluminum housing. Here it is configured with a 100 micron stainless steel element and -12AN male end caps for up to 200 GPH.
The 100 micron stainless steel element is intended for use as a pre-filter ahead of a fuel pump, where it helps prevent pump cavitation with very low pressure drop. Fuelab recommends a finer element downstream to protect injectors or carburetors.
