This is the late-style Fluidampr Performance Diesel Series damper for 1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke engines. The viscous damper replaces the aging factory elastomer balancer and controls torsional vibration across the whole RPM range.

Key Features

  • Viscous design uses a free-rotating inertia ring sealed inside a laser-welded steel housing, shearing through silicone to convert crankshaft torsional vibration into heat.
  • Externally balanced to OEM specification; no additional balancing required.
  • Never requires tuning, rebuilding or maintenance, unlike a rubber elastomer balancer.
  • CNC machined, computer balanced high-grade steel with a corrosion resistant black zinc chromate finish.
  • SFI 18.1 certified and made in the USA.

Installation Notes

OEM crank bolt torque is 212 ft-lbs. Fluidampr recommends replacing the crank bolt whenever the damper is installed.
