The Fluidampr Performance Diesel Series damper replaces the factory elastomer harmonic balancer on the 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Power Stroke with a viscous crankshaft damper. It is the externally balanced unit for standard single-alternator 6.0L applications.

- Viscous design uses a free-rotating inertia ring sealed inside a laser-welded steel housing, shearing through silicone to convert crankshaft torsional vibration into heat.
- Externally balanced to OEM specification, so no additional crankshaft balancing is required.
- CNC machined, computer balanced high-grade steel with a corrosion resistant black zinc chromate finish.
- Never requires tuning, rebuilding or maintenance, unlike a rubber elastomer balancer.
- SFI 18.1 certified and made in the USA.

Installation Notes
Fluidampr specifies routing the accessory belt between the damper and the water pump pulley before the damper is installed. OEM crank bolt torque is 50 ft-lbs plus an additional 90 degrees; the bolt is torque-to-yield and must be replaced. The High Strength Bolt Kit, p/n 300014, is recommended for applications up to 700 hp / 1,250 ft-lbs of torque.
