Fluidampr's internally balanced damper for the 2007.5 and newer Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins replaces the stock elastomer balancer with a viscous unit that keeps damping as horsepower goes up. No re-tuning is needed after engine modifications.
Key Features
- Viscous design uses a free-rotating inertia ring sealed inside a laser-welded steel housing, shearing through silicone to convert crankshaft torsional vibration into heat.
- Internally balanced; no additional crankshaft balancing required.

Installation Notes
Install the damper with the smaller of the two pin holes on the crankshaft pin and verify crankshaft thread depth for bolt length. Crank bolt torque is 92 ft-lbs with OEM bolts. Fluidampr recommends High Strength Bolt Kit p/n 300007 under 700 hp / 1,250 ft-lbs, and the Cummins Full Power Kit p/n 300008 above it.
