Fluidampr's internally balanced damper for the 1989-1998 Dodge 5.9L Cummins 12 valve replaces the factory harmonic balancer with a viscous unit. Because the damper does not carry the stock timing notches, the Cummins sensor relocation kit is part of the installation on these trucks.

Installation Notes
Crank bolt torque is 92 ft-lbs with OEM bolts. On 1992-1998 trucks, rotate the engine before removal so the magnetic pickup is not sitting on a notch in the stock damper, and record the pickup gap. Fluidampr recommends High Strength Bolt Kit p/n 300009 under 700 hp / 1,250 ft-lbs, Full Power Kit p/n 300008 above that, and Drill Pin Kit p/n 300002 above 3,500 rpm.
