Fluidampr lists this performance damper for GM and Chevy big block gasoline V8 engines, covering the 6.6L L8T and the 6.2L L87. It replaces the stock harmonic balancer with a viscous unit and, per Fluidampr, is internally balanced.
Key Features
- Internally balanced per Fluidampr specification.
- Pre-drilled and tapped 3.200 in. bolt circle with six 3/8 in.-16 holes, which accepts a custom mandrel for accessories such as a dry sump drive.
- Removable rear-mounted aluminum A/C pulley.
- Viscous design uses a free-rotating inertia ring sealed inside a laser-welded steel housing, shearing through silicone to convert crankshaft torsional vibration into heat.
- 7-3/4 in. diameter, 14.9 lbs. SFI 18.1 certified and made in the USA.

Installation Notes
Confirm 5.3L L84 fitment with Fluidampr before ordering for that engine. Verify you have the gasoline L8T or L87 and not the 6.6L Duramax diesel, since the two are different engine families and the dampers are not interchangeable.
