This externally balanced Fluidampr damper fits 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Power Stroke engines and takes over crankshaft torsional vibration control from the factory elastomer balancer. Damping is broad-range rather than tuned to one narrow frequency band.

Installation Notes
OEM crank bolt torque is 50 ft-lbs plus an additional 90 degrees. The bolt is torque-to-yield and a new bolt must be used. Fluidampr recommends the 6.4L High Strength Bolt Kit, p/n 300015, for applications up to 700 hp / 1,250 ft-lbs of torque.
