Fluidampr p/n 760131 is the internally balanced Duramax damper, and Fluidampr specifies it for internal balance crankshaft conversions only. It is the one damper in the Fluidampr Duramax range that is not externally balanced, so it belongs on a built 6.6L running an internally balanced aftermarket crankshaft rather than a factory bottom end.
Key Features
- Engine balance is internal. Fluidampr lists this damper for internal balance crankshaft conversions only.
- Press fit onto an internally balanced Duramax crankshaft, with two keyways (5 mm and 1/4 in.) that must both be aligned before pressing on.
- Supplied with a hardened crankshaft washer machined for the GM 3.200 in. bolt circle, replacing the factory crank bolt washer.
- Viscous design uses a free-rotating inertia ring sealed inside a laser-welded steel housing, shearing through silicone to convert crankshaft torsional vibration into heat.
- 7-3/4 in. outside diameter. SFI 18.1 certified and made in the USA.

Installation Notes
Confirm your crankshaft is internally balanced before ordering. Internal and external balance dampers are not interchangeable, and fitting this damper to a factory externally balanced Duramax is a mismatch. Fluidampr developed it for Duramax builds using an internally balanced billet crankshaft such as a Callies unit. Torque an OEM bolt to 74 ft-lbs plus an additional 105 degrees, or 255 ft-lbs with lube when using the ARP 129-2503 crank bolt that Fluidampr recommends.
