A diesel that pulls fuel under vacuum through a partly blocked filter starves the injection pump long before anything shows on a gauge, and the pump is the expensive part. The FASS 98-04 Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins 24V Signature Adj 250GPH (store SKU fassFASD08250G) replaces the factory supply with a Signature Series Adjustable lift pump, filter and air separation system.
- Rated at 250 GPH — that is the number to match to your build, since an under-sized system starves the pump and an over-sized one simply costs more.
- Signature Series Adjustable — the series determines the filtration and mounting arrangement, so it is not interchangeable with the other FASS lines.
- Separates air and vapour out of the fuel before it reaches the injection pump, which is the failure mode that quietly shortens pump and injector life.
- Adjustable pressure, so the supply can be dialled to what your injection system wants instead of a fixed preset.
Fits: 1998-2004 Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 with the 5.9L Cummins 24V. Both ends of this range are mid-year. Earlier-1998 trucks are the 12V and take the 1994-1998 system; later-2004 trucks take the 2005-2018 system.
