When the rail pressure falls off at the top of the run, the injection pump is out of capacity — no tune recovers that. The Exergy Reverse Rotation 12mm Stroker CP3 Pump (store SKU xrgE04 20317) restores the volume the your diesel needs to hold pressure under load.
- 12mm stroker internals move materially more fuel per revolution, which is what holds rail pressure when the injectors get large.
- Reverse rotation — for drives that turn the pump backwards relative to stock. A standard-rotation pump will not work in this position.
- CP3 platform — confirm which pump your truck left the factory with, since the families do not interchange.
