When the rail pressure falls off at the top of the run, the injection pump is out of capacity — no tune recovers that. The Exergy 06-07 Duramax LBZ 14mm CP3 Race Pump (store SKU xrgE04 10309) restores the volume the Duramax LBZ needs to hold pressure under load.
- 14mm stroker internals move materially more fuel per revolution, which is what holds rail pressure when the injectors get large.
- Built on a LBZ-based core. That is the donor pump it is machined from, not the vehicle it fits — check the Fits line.
- Race Series — built for competition duty and the service interval that comes with it, not for a daily driver.
- CP3 platform — confirm which pump your truck left the factory with, since the families do not interchange.
Fits: 2006-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD with the 6.6L Duramax LBZ. The 2007 split is mid-year: later-2007 trucks are LMM and take an LMM part instead.
Perfect for a build that has outgrown the factory pump and is losing rail pressure at the top end.
