When the rail pressure falls off at the top of the run, the injection pump is out of capacity — no tune recovers that. The Exergy 04-05 Duramax LLY 10mm Stroker CP3 (LBZ Based) Pump (store SKU xrgE04 10206) restores the volume the Duramax LLY needs to hold pressure under load.
- 10mm stroker internals move materially more fuel per revolution, which is what holds rail pressure when the injectors get large.
- Built on a LBZ-based core. That is the donor pump it is machined from, not the vehicle it fits — check the Fits line.
- CP3 platform — confirm which pump your truck left the factory with, since the families do not interchange.
Fits: 2004-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD with the 6.6L Duramax LLY. The 2004 split is mid-year: earlier-2004 trucks are LB7 and take an LB7 part instead.
Perfect for a build that has outgrown the factory pump and is losing rail pressure at the top end.
