The factory pressure relief valve dumps to return exactly when a built truck needs rail pressure most. The Exergy 03-04 Cummins 5.9L 2600Bar Race Pressure Relief Valve (store SKU xrgE07 20018) raises that threshold so the fuel stays where it is doing work.
- Race Series — built for competition duty and the service interval that comes with it, not for a daily driver.
- Opens at 2600 bar (37700 PSI) instead of the factory threshold, so the rail holds pressure where a stock valve would bleed off.
- Threads into the factory PRV location, so this is a component swap rather than a fuel system redesign.
Fits: 2003-2004 Dodge Ram 2500 and Dodge Ram 3500 with the 5.9L Cummins 24V (early build). The 2004 split is mid-year: later-2004 trucks are the late build and take the 04-07 part instead.
Perfect for a truck running rail pressure above stock that keeps bleeding off through the factory valve.
