Injector condition governs fuel metering, spray atomization and injection timing, so tired injectors show up as hard starting, rough idle, smoke, low power and poor fuel economy. This unit is listed for Caterpillar C7 7.2L. Every Delphi remanufactured unit is fully disassembled, cleaned and inspected, with all worn or non-functioning components replaced. Critical surfaces are lapped, O-rings are replaced 100 percent, and each unit is function-tested for fuel delivery, injection pressure and timing before it ships. Injectors are flow-matched so a set delivers equal fuel volume across all cylinders.
